Design and Marketing
Knowle Grange Health Spa is a boutique health spa and gym set in beautiful Victorian country gardens. A unique facility with a private Gym Membership. In addition, Knowle Grange offers a range of indulgent spa treatments – from Beauty Treatments, Body Treatments, Holistic Therapies, Spa Treatments and beauty products. Spa days, spa treatments and fitness classes are not exclusive to members and are available to all guests visiting the spa
Having recently undertaken a renovation expanding the onsite services and facilities. I was tasked to revamp their outdated print communications, onsite signage, wayfinding and website. All within keeping of a fresh, modern, boutique style that reflects their brand’s personality and values.
In addition we initiated a 6 month marketing campaign to change perceptions of Knowle Grange being a members only Health Spa.

Key Objectives & My Approach
The main objective was to increase awareness and engage with the local area within 15 to 25 miles of Knowle Grange. In addition to change perceptions that Knowle Grange was not just a private members facility. With a limited 6 month budget we needed to increase spa treatment and product sales through the summer leading up to and including the pre-christmas season.

Creative Highlights
To reach our target audience effectively, we leveraged a multi-channel marketing approach. Our strategy included:
Local Print Advertising, Leaflet Distribution, Exhibitor at Winter Fair Event, eMail and Social Media marketing – we targeted local areas, towns & villages within a 15 mile reach. Creating awareness and targeting new customers by means of incentivised offers – these included;
- refer a friend & be rewarded
- treatment Tuesdays with Discount on all treatments
- Loyalty Scheme
- Seasonal Offers
- Product Offers
Website – we created monthly/seasonal offers and high value content marketing through News posts and articles on website, highlighting the benefits of the unique facility, treatments, products and driving organic traffic to the website.
Exhibiting – planning and delivering necessary marketing collaterol to showcase the Knowle Grange brand, services and products at the annual Wealden Winter Fair.
Results and Outcomes:
- Created onsite signage and wayfinding that streamlined customer engagement, ensuring an intuitive and enjoyable experience. This included updated signage at the site entrance targeted at passing traffic.
- Delivered unique design concepts for print collaterol that aligned with the branding, creating a cohesive narrative across all touchpoints.
- Delivered design assets and materials that became integral to the ongoing campaign, facilitating effective collaboration across the teams and stakeholders.
